The Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness Task Force will hold an annual gathering of community members called REACH Across the Table on January 25, 2018.  The event will provide information on community concerns that impact our ability to accept each other’s differences and our ability to come together as one.   This year’s key word is “TRUST”.

In order to guide the conversation at January’s event, the Task Force is asking the community to answer a question related to the obstacles that keep us from trusting one another.  At the January Reach Across the Table event, participants will be asked to discuss potential solutions to these obstacles that impact our ability to trust one another.

The REACH Across the Table event will be held from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Silver Springs State Park.  Participation at the event will be limited to 150 people and will be open to all community members on a “first to respond” basis.  Participants will be expected to actively engage in conversation related to the topic.  Invitations will go out through email/evite at the beginning of January.  If you are interested in receiving an invitation to participate in this event, please provide your contact information when completing the survey and then watch for the invitation in your inbox in January.
